A World of Magic

There is a World of ‘Magic’ inside each one of us, which we have the ability to unlock and create.

A world where you can start at any age to envision your dreams and what you want to achieve in your life. A world of dreams you may have known as a child and growing up, then long forgotten as your everyday life events took over.

A world where we can encourage our children no matter what their age, to listen to their hearts and follow their passions throughout life.

A world where we can all acknowledge our own and each other’s passions, interests and talents and encourage each other to achieve what makes us happy and fulfilled inside.

A world where we all understand, there is no need for anger or jealously.

Know, there is enough ‘Good’ in the Universe for everyone, if we are prepared to look for it.

Introducing...

"The Music In You", the first book of the collection.

‘The Music In You’ is a true story, told through the eyes of a child as she navigates the beginnings of her musical journey.

We are taken ‘back in time’ to the year 1925 where we meet the vivacious Little Joycee. As a child, she loved to daydream about her music and, at night, would wish upon the Evening Star, praying that her visions of becoming a fine pianist would come true.

Little Joycee takes us on her adventures, as she uses her childlike know-how, courage, and inner strengths to take on challenges throughout her life. Then, while focusing on her musical ambitions, she worked very hard, never gave up, and indeed achieved the future she had always imagined.

For decades, Little Joycee delighted in entertaining others with a wide variety of music, sharing her talents and inspiring generations to discover their ‘music within’.

This little girl, I am proud to say, grew up to be my mother.

I hope the ‘young’ and the ‘young at heart’ can enjoy relating Little Joycee’s story to their own interests while having fun reading and getting involved with the changes in everyday living, music, and dance over the decades.

I hope you enjoy taking this journey with Little Joycee, through a bygone era, which will never grow old:
